Okay, with Realms of Hyrule 4 (Or 3.5 as some wish to call it) up and running smoothly, there have been quite a few new changes in things.
New Races: The first and most notable of which was bringing back Hylians and Sheikah. After being basically nonexistent for RoH3, they're now open to the public with some restrictions. However the details for these restrictions haven't been worked out completely yet, so keep checking back and we should have them up soon.
There's also the introduction of a brand new race into RoH; Skull Kid is now a playable race, so if any of you were ever interested in playing as these rather interesting little things, you can now.
Post Count Restriction: One of the things we're also trying this time around is placing a Level/Post Count restriction on the Death Mountain Region (Now known as the Southern Provinces), and South Hyrule (Central Provinces). The restrictions are set at Level 20 (452 Posts) and Level 2 (9 posts), respectively.
New Area: To complement the return of the Sheikah, we have Kakariko Village up and running as a subforum within the Lost Graveyard area. Although it is in the Death Mountain Region, it is post count restriction exempt. It however, does have it's own resitriction in that only Sheikah can enter it for now.
Changes in Guild Formation: In order to get newer members more involved with guilds, the requirements to create a guild have changed from needing 7 members at Level 10+ to needing 10 members at Level 5+.

Ok, so, us folks behind the scenes have been working our Zeldas off to rebuild what was so wrongfully taken from all of you. We've made some nice progress. There will be a few things we didn't have before, but you'll see more of that soon. As it stands, I believe post counts will be restored for everyone (more details to be released later). As far as continuing where we left off in the RP, it may vary. Some will choose to continue what they had going, others may wish to scrap their old characters and try something different. It will be mostly up to you what you decide; we'll try to play it by ear. As before, you may use the chat and temporary forum to help out or voice your concerns.
You all are probably wondering when we intend to open everything back up. Well, we're not entirely sure yet, but everything should be good to go sometime tomorrow, or else early Tuesday morning. We apologize for the massive inconveniance with RoH being almost utterly destroyed. Countermeasures have been put into place to prevent this from occuring again (basically, frequent backing up of the site).
Keep an eye out for further details!

Bleh. I'm sure anyone readin this is thinking the same. Virtually everything has been wiped out. The Database (this includes RoH2 and RoH3), the skins, the forum images, the forums themselves, all of it. The only thing that was saved is the entire site, images and all (at least the version that was up in April). Just know that a staff is working very hard to rebuild what was lost. In some ways we think we can make things better than they were before. We can't recover everything, but please be patiant, RoH is not down for the count just yet.

Another update you say? Why yes, thank you!
As you can plainly see by the title here, our Battle System is under going a huge revamp, we've got more classes, magic, and adventure waiting for you then you can shake a stick at! Because of this, the Shop, Instruction Manual, and Site are all going to be undergoing so big changes. Because of this, Duels and Monster Arena fights are going to be closed temporarily while we get everything up and running.
Be patient with us, it's going to be worth it. As the Battle System's host creator, I give it my "Awesome" guarantee. If you've got any questions, I might be willing to divulge an answer or two, so PM me if you feel the need.

As Blaine said below, a lot of new additions are coming up quickly, which means...more updates. Having two updates in a row gotta mean something good's going on.
The first Fan Fiction contest of RoH3 has been put up. The contest is inspired by the release of the game coming out in just three days, Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Spend your time waiting around...in style, by entering this contest!
If you don't enter, I'm just going to enter myself and keep the prize for me! So it's completely your loss if you don't enter!

So, yesterday I decided to work on updating the design of this drab ol' site. To my surprise, It didn't take me long to produce what you now see. Of course I had help from Thanatos in the image department, so I can't take complete credit. Also today the Team has been working diligently in many areas. There's some new faction and profile additions, and more are soon coming.
Also, we've added two new affiliates to our page, Zelda Temple, and Triforce Tour. Both are pretty cool places; check 'em out if you have spare time.
Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know; this is just the tip of the iceberg. The Staff are working very hard right now, and huge things are in store for everyone here at RoH. I can't say much right now, but in the meantime you can enjoy some updated content on this dusty relic. I've got to get back to working. Cheers!

About time to make an update, I believe. We are pleased to announce the return of Blaine as administrator as well as a new addition to the team, Claidis. We hope that the aspects of new and old will add to the progress of RoH. Next, it may not look as if the council have been up to much, but I assure you, we have big plans for the not so distant future. With the new administrators present, you can expect the council to be kicked into gear for your benefit.
